Dinosaur graaawrrrrll... I love it, when I was child, I'm a dino maniac haha I love everything about dinosaur, books, movie, toys, story. And my favorite dino is Spinosaurus,it means 'spine lizard'. do you know it? I like it because it has something on its back, Its like a sail or a hump. The function of it's sail is uncertain. Scientist have proposed several hypothesis including heat regulation and display. In addition, such a prominent feature on it's back could make it appear even larger than it was to intimidating other dino.

Hong Moon Mung & Wat Nong Wang

Hong Moon Mung Museum is a historical museum of Khon Kaen, in this museum the story of Khon Kaen begin. It's a quite museum, when I was there, there are no other visitor but us.

After that, we go to the next destination. Wat Nong Wang Buddhist Temple near the museum. Its the coolest and shiny Buddhist temple I've ever visit hahaha

Graphic Tools

Today the lab is about graphic tool, and we've learn adobe photoshop. Actually I've know about it and I can teach my friend. The reason I knew it because I've learn photoshop since I'm in junior high school, then I explore it more by my self with tutorial book that I bought and learn more trick and effect. I love photoshop since I know it, but I need to re-learn it hahaha because it's have been 2 years I didn't learn it, and I need to learn more again to make a good design and editing. But for now, I think its enough because its just the basic, so I can handle it.

The teacher assistant, P'Fang told us the basic of photoshop and how to use it, but its just the basic like how to import the picture, make a new canvas, set up the size of the canvas and introduce the toolbox. Once again I'm glad I've know about PS, because she didn't explain further about the tools and what the use of the tools. In the lab, all of the student use PS6 but I use PS4 haha, I think its okay because I can still create something even the PS6 is better than PS4 from the appearance and the effect. I've read about the tutorial book, and the writer using PS5 and there's an effect that doesn't exist in PS4.

In the middle of class, P'Fang gave us an assignment to design the 'homepage' and 'aboutme' with the photoshop. Make something that doesn't exist is hard, and I need more inspiration. Till the time up, she asked us if we have finish yet, and she told us to do it as a homework and send it via email on sunday. Yeaa that's great and time to free.....

Web Design Principles part.2

In the start of the class, there was a pretest about last lecture. It should be easy, if I was re-learn about it the day before, I'm pretty sure I will got a good mark, from 7 question, I only got 4. How pity I am haha. For next pretest, I should study first in the night to get the good mark.

In this meeting we learning more about the principles of web design,
The web that we will make should be easy to use, it means that our web could be use in easy way, do not make the user think and confuse how to use the web that we make. And then the web should be accessible, it means our web should be accessible for every people. Yeah, every people, including disability people such as people who can't see and hear. For now, I only could make 'easy to use', for 'accessible', hmm need an expert training to make it. We should input an audio for the people who can not see. yeah, something like that.

Our web also could be open in every web browser, we didn't know if anyone that open our web and they use IE6 or even lower, then they cannot open our web.What a  disappointing.

Today, I've learn more about HTML and HTML5, and there's lot of new code that I've never see. Although the function is the same, but the codes are longer.
From this meeting, I also reminding again about HTML code, because I never make an HTML code again after the end of first semester hahaa. And now, I will learn more, and want to explore more about HTML and HTML5. I wanna make a good web design, and want to know more about the HTML codes.

Web Design Principles

And today is the independence day of Indonesia, my lovely Country.. and I've miss it already hahaha

And today I have learn about HTML, I have know about it before, but here, I want to know more about it. There's also something new that I've never heard before. It's XML and XHTML.

XML is the short of Extensible Markup Leanguage and XHRML is a combination of XML and HTML. The syntax of XML is more strickted than HTML and for XHTML, there was not well recieved by the development community. Acan Sumonta also told me about HTML5, and she said that if theres new feature in HTML5 :

• Logical layout element
• Rich media
• Support for application

HTML5 also removed some old feature :

• All display elements have been removed in favor of CSS
• Framesets are gone

I think it will be fun, and I can't wait to practice and improve my skill.

Good and Bad Web Design

It is the first class of acan Sumonta, with the subject of Web Designing. Today I've know about the good web design and the bad one.

A good web design should have some criteria :

1. Simplicity
2. Consistency
3. Uniqueness
4. Usefulness
5. Easy-use Navigation

1. SIMPLICITY

The web doesn't need to look awesome, the simple web it's better than the web that have lot of animation and blinked word that make the user confuse

2. CONSISTENCY

The designer should make a consistency with the colour which they use. They should to adjust the picture that they input, the size should be same.

3. UNIQUENESS
The designer should make something different with their web to compare with other web. They could make a symbol or sign that symbolized their web.

4.USEFULNESS
The web should have a good and positive attribute and make the content useful for the user.

5.EASY-USE NAVIGATION
The designer should make a navigation or menu of their web to make the user easy to find what they looking for.

But, the more important thing is, how to make the user impressed with the web and make them easy to find what they want.

First Step

First Step in Khonkaen, new place, new friends, new story..
about 14 hours from Semarang,Indonesia - Khonkaen,Thailand we have arrived at Khonkaen Airport on August 6 2014 around 9 p.m.

Wellcome to Kohn Kaen

There's a different between Indonesia and Thailand in college culture. In here the student should wearing a uniform, just like the senior high school in Indonesia. Here's the uniform that I wear :D

hahaa, actually there's also a tie too, but the lecturer said that its okay if we don't wear the tie. There's also differentiated between the senior and the new student or freshman, because I'm the second year, so I wear the black pants while the freshman wearing the dark blue pants. They also wear a tag name, so the senior will easily know their name, and they should wear it every time they're in the campus area.

And... this is it, my faculty building.. building 6, Faculty of Science..

I'm here just for one semester, but I wish I'll get the chance to get the scholarship and take master degree here, aamiin :) What should I do now is to reach the goal by make everyone that has pray and support me especially my parents.. I love you Mom :* I love you Dad :* and thank you for my lecturer in UDINUS that have teach me.. Let's start walk the road and go to the BETTER FUTURE....UNITE AND STRIKE!!!
